The Back Porch Players presents The Back Porch Players-Spanish Paella and Wine Reception, Thursday, July 28 at 7pm at Jung Center of Houston.

This summer, we are proud to perform at the newly constructed downtown location of the Houston Ballet Center for Dance. In this state-of-the-art venue, we bring you Woody Allen's comedies God and Death directed by Back Porch company member Nicholas Collins. Following the run of God and Death, we will present In the Blood written by Suzan-Lori Parks and directed by Alley Company member David Rainey.

To celebrate, we invite you... to join us at the Jung Center for a paella and wine reception. This event is an opportunity to enjoy Spanish Paella from El Meson Restaurant, delicious wine, see your friends and make new ones and catch a a video sneak preview form inside of rehearsals.

We will have great raffle prizes like tickets to The Alley Theatre, A membership to the Contemporary Arts Museum Houston, artwork from the Peel Gallery, an iPod and many more. Suggested minimum donation of $25.00 for this exciting evening of great food, wine and entertainment.

The Back Porch Players contributes to the arts community through socially meaningful theatre. Your generosity has been the lifeblood of our grass roots non-profit company that began literally on the back porch. Thank you for believing in us and supporting what we do.
