    The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Center for the Arts presents Poetry & Prose: Environmental Writers of Galveston Bay, Wednesday, October 26, Monday, October 24 at 5:30pm. LOCATION: University of Houston, Honors College Commons, Level 2 of M.D. Anderson Library.

    The University of Houston Cynthia Woods Mitchell Center for the Arts and Artists in Residence Shrimp Boat Projects, as part of the University of Houston Libraries and Creative Writing Program Poetry & Prose reading series, present readings by local authors who delve deeply into the issues surrounding Galveston Bay.

    Parking: Visitor parking is available in the parking garage located at the corner of Calhoun and University Boulevard. Follow driving directions to Entrance #1 and turn left on Calhoun. The entrance to the parking garage is down half of a block on the right hand side.

    Parking fees for the parking garage weekdays, 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.

    31 minutes - 1 hour $2.00
    61 minutes - 1 1/2hours $3.00
    91 minutes - 2 hours $4.00
    121 minutes - 2 1/2 hours $5.00
    151 minutes - 3 hours $6.00
    181 minutes - 3 1/2 hours $7.00
    Over 3 1/2 hours $8.00
    From 6 p.m. - 9 a.m. and on weekends and holidays the garage charges a flat fee of $3.00.
