Warehouse Live, and Jetspeed Entertainment  present  the Jetspeed Metal Showcase. Featuring Ethreal. Plus Metavenge, South, Good Job Underground, Stone Decent, Downfall Rising.

Ethreal is a metal/hardcore band from Pasadena, TX founded by Ivan Huerta and Jaime DeLeon. The rest of the band is also from the greater Houston area. They are currently unsigned. After several lineup changes, Ivan Huerta is the only original member left in the band.

Original vocalist, Jason Whitlow helped the band reach local stardom, but was released as part of a mutual agreement on the basis that it would be best for Jason and the band if they parted ways. After Jason’s departure, current vocalist Brandon Hurley was picked up. Since his arrival in 2007, Ethreal has recorded two demos and had moderate success with both of them. They are currently putting together a full length recording and hope to take it on the road very soon.

Ethreal has been recognized and respected as a local powerhouse in the greater Houston area for quite some time. The band has played numerous shows at local venues, including The Meridian, Warehouse Live, Scout Bar, and Fitzgeralds. Ethreal has been featured on many underground web periodicals and radio shows, gaining popularity through their two most popular recordings, the high paced “Solace Awaits” and the powerful anthem “Sirens”.
