Rothko Chapel presents Labor in the Pulpits, on the Bimah, in the Minbar: Houston Interfaith Worker Justice Center, Sunday, August 28 at 3pm.

The "Labor in the Pulpits, on the Bimah, and in the Minbar" is an interfaith prayer service that celebrates workers and highlights the sacred link between faith, work, and justice. Labor Day is a time for those in the religious community and the labor movement not only to celebrate working people and their contributions to our society, but to remember the struggles that workers endured and still endure to achieve the many benefits we now enjoy and take for granted.

The program is organized with the Houston Interfaith Worker Justice Center.
