Pearland Parks & Recreation and Pearland Town Center present the Pearland Hometown Christmas Festival (and Hometown Christmas Parade), Friday, December 2 - Sunday, December 4, 2011, at Pearland Town Center - 11200 Broadway. 

Lighted Christmas Parade

The 30th Annual Lighted Christmas Parade brings out dozens of floats and walking groups each year decked out in lights and holiday spirit. With this year’s theme, “Dance of the Snowflake,” expect a lot of fun entries! Plan to see drill teams, classic cars, company floats and many other community folks.

Hometown Christmas Festival

Feel the Christmas spirit come alive as Pearland Parks and Recreation teams up with the Pearland Town Center to host the City's Annual Hometown Christmas Festival and Tree Lighting Ceremony.

On Friday evening, Mayor Reid & Santa Claus will light up the sky as they plug in the City's Christmas Tree at the annual Tree Lighting ceremony. The event will feature a laser light show and ice carving performance by Reverend Butter, as seen on TLC's Chainsaw Ice Sculptors! Holiday activities will continue throughout the weekend on Saturday and Sunday.

Join us for an exciting weekend of Christmas entertainment, live music, movie nights, promotions, great food and more!

7-9 p.m. - Tree Lighting Ceremony

Laser Light Show
Chainsaw Ice Carving
Horse & Carriage Rides
Live entertainment

Saturday, December 3
8-11 a.m. - Breakfast with Santa (benefitting Forgotten Angels, a local non-profit organization)
Tickets are $5 per person and breakfast includes 1 FREE photo with Santa. Craft activities will also be available. To pre-purchase your breakfast ticket(s), contact the Forgotten Angels at 281-412-6435. Tickets will also be available the day of the event, while supplies last.

Noon-8 p.m. - Holiday Gift Market

6 p.m. - Cookies & Milk with Santa (FREE admission, while supplies last)

6:30 p.m. - Movies Under the Stars

Sunday, December 4
Pearland Reindeer Run - 5K & Kids 1K hosted by Pilates Powerhouse and Personal Training. Register online at www.powerhouserunning.com.

Noon- 6 p.m. - Holiday Gift Market
