Houston Arts Alliance presents Writing & C/Siting Houston. Writing & C/Siting Houston is a collaboration of Houston writers, folklorists and historians that will share the special places that make the city so unique.

Ten Houstonians will craft written portraits of distinctive urban settings with personal significance. By exploring neighborhoods, parks, street corners, restaurants and other community-based locales, they share the ways and "the wheres" Houston is known and cherished by its residents. These pieces of literary "place making" offer diverse insights into how Houstonians construct and connect with their home at a grassroots level.
