Mildred’s Umbrella Theater Company announces the Cirque du Macabre: Carnival Sideshow Gala! Join us under Mildred’s Umbrella for the freakiest party of 2011! Mildred’s Umbrella is putting together a sideshow you won’t forget on November 5, 2011 at the Alley Theatre.

Mildred’s Umbrella is steadily growing with a dedication to the growth of Houston’s theatre community. As our audience grows, the party gets bigger. There will be live entertainment from freaky musical sensations Jim and his Amazing Freaks, DJ Stephanie Saint-Sanchez and the Mildred’s Umbrella Theater Company resident freaks.

We will also have door prizes, carnival games, a silent auction, fancy carney food from Prego Restaurant, St. Arnolds Beer, wine from Palm Bay International, a costume contest with prizes for the Carney folk who choose to show their true colors by showing up in costume.

Tickets:

$25 in advance. $40 at the door. Advance tickets on our website via paypal www.mildredsumbrella.com.

Parking is $5 in the garage, or free on the street after 6pm.

Special themed VIP tables with fabulous goodie bags available
4 person table- $200, includes wonderful goodie bags with tickets, toys, and treats, and your own custom-themed carney table.

8 person table- $600- includes your own Carney folk host/waiter, wonderful goodie bags with tickets, toys, and treats, and your own custom-themed fairy tale table.

Parking:

There are several parking garages in the Theatre District and some street parking is available at various times. The most convenient parking garage to the Alley Theatre is the Alley Theatre Center Garage. The Alley Theatre Center Parking Garage is the high-rise garage located directly behind the Alley with entrances on Louisiana Street and Smith Street. Event parking is $5 in this garage. For all events during weekday business hours parking is $1 per 20 minutes with a $9 maximum charge.
