    The 2012 MLK Excellence Of Freedom Awards Gala Is a Production Of The MLK Parade Foundation-Houston.

    This annual event was created to honor the Grand Marshals of the MLK Youth Parade-Houston and the MLK Grande Parade-Houston.  The 2012 MLK Excellence of Freedom Ward Recipients are the legendary Harlem Globetrotters.

    The keynote speaker for the Gala is Avery Brooks - motivational speaker/professor.  The Master & Mistress of Ceremonies are Susie Stillwell-Actorress in Star Trek - Fame/Singer  And Marco Spoon-Majic 102.
