Alamo Drafthouse Mason (Katy) presents Quote-Alongs: ROBIN HOOD: MEN IN TIGHTS.

"Hello, my name is Indigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die." "The dude abides." "I know you are, but what am I?" There are some movies with dialog that's so entrenched in our culture, so ingrained in our brains, and so much a part of who we are as people that it seems just silly to make us sit and watch the film in total silence. And so even though the Alamo is usually very strict about kicking out anyone who talks during the movie, at The Action Pack's Quote-Along series we're more likely to kick you out if you *don't* talk during the film.

"Master Robin, you lost your arms in battle...but you grew some nice boobs."

This has to be the most often requested and easily the most head- slappingly "Why didn't we think of that" Quote-Along screenings ever. We always ask for your suggestions of what you want to see, and here it is coming to reality. This September The Action Pack is strapping on a pair of tights (tight tights) and roaming around an Alamo near you looking for fights (that's right!).

It's the good ol' Robin Hood tale we know and love but done to lampooning perfection by spoofmaster general Mel Brooks. And you've never experienced true Mel Brooks genius until you've partaken in a theatrical Mel Brooks screening with a theater packed full of equally adoring fans singing, quoting, and dancing like pansies. Assemble, merry men! You may be asking yourselves "why should we listen to you?"
