    Anita Perry, the First Lady of Texas, proudly hosts this conference each year. This conference offers incredible opportunities for business networking, professional development and personal growth. The Texas Conference for Women is a non-profit, non-partisan event that features dozens of expert speakers leading workshops and seminars on the issues that matter most to women, including personal finance, business and entrepreneurship, health, work/life balance, and more.

    Keynote speakers include:
    Martha Beck—renowned life coach, columnist, O, The Oprah Magazine and best-selling author
    Jody Conradt—visionary leader for women's sports; head coach of UT women's basketball team for 31 years
    America Ferrera—award-winning actress and humanitarian
    Cindy Hensley McCain—humanitarian and board member, The Eastern Congo Initiative founded by Ben Affleck
    Lisa Niemi Swayze—Hollywood and Broadway star, best-selling author and spokesperson, Pancreatic Cancer Action Network

    This year’s theme, Live Fearlessly!, encourages women to conquer the challenges of their daily life and boldly transform into the woman they want to become.

    Parking:

    The George R. Brown now offers even more parking space with a new parking garage located at the corner of Polk Street and Avenida de las Americas. Conveniently connected to the GRBCC and the Hilton by Level 2 skywalks, parking couldn’t be easier.

    In addition, there are several privately owned surface lots surrounding the convention center. All are just a short walk away or across the street.
