    Join Alamo Drafthouse West Oaks for the Tribeca Film Festival On the Road.  This October the Tribeca Film Festival is going on the road. American Express is teaming up with Tribeca Film to take a selection of the festival’s movies to various cities — bringing a piece of the prestigious film festival to a town near you. Well, guess what Houstonians? We’re one of the stops!

    The three-day Tribeca Film Festival On The Road event will kick-off October 14 at our West Oaks location and will feature an eclectic mix of independent feature films. Each film will be accompanied with a Q&A session featuring actors, directors and others involved in the film productions.

    Here’s a complete line-up of the films that will screen as part of the three-day event:

    Friday, October 14
    Janie Jones: 7:30PM

    Opening-night screening and after-party with cocktails: $12. Weekend shows: $8 per screening.

    Tickets for the screenings are now on sale and available to purchase at tribecafilm.com/amex.

    Sales will benefit the Tribeca Film Institute, a year-round nonprofit arts organization founded by Robert De Niro, Jane Rosenthal and Craig Hatkoff. The Institute empowers filmmakers through grants, professional development and resources — while also helping students to discover film and filmmaking.
