Exploring the persona of Amos Oz, this film opens a rare window into the world as observed through the eyes of one of Israel’s greatest authors.

Mirroring the story-telling of his memoir, A Tale of Love and Darkness, this documentary follows Oz on his book tour and through several emotion-laden philosophical explorations. It is Amos Oz’s uniquely Israeli experience as well as his universal perspective that distinguish him as the compelling and thought-provoking subject of this documentary.

Houston has been honored with Oz’s three appearances at the ERJCC Jewish Book & Arts Fair; we now have the privilege of getting a deeper look into the man.
