The Improv Comedy Showcase and Restaurant presents Carlos Mencia. Special Event! The Houston Improv is excited to announce this showing of Carlos Mencia!

Superstar/stand-up comedian Carlos Mencia is undoubtedly one of today's most lauded entertainers and feared comics. Carlos connected again with a film audience with the recent Fox Searchlight feature release "Our Family Wedding" starring opposite Forrest Whitaker and America Ferrara, Carlos stars in this clash-of-cultures comedy about two overbearing dads. Mind of Mencia" debuted on Comedy Central in early 2005. Wrapping five seasons later, the show was one of the strongest shows in the network's history.

In the summer of 2007, Mencia starred opposite Ben Stiller and Michelle Monaghan in the Farrelly Brothers' hit feature film, "The Heartbreak Kid" (DreamWorks). In the fall of 2007, Mencia headlined a nationwide comedy tour titled "Carlos Mencia Live Presented by Bud Light."

With standup, film and tv, Mencia's career continues to flourish, making him one of Hollywood's most sought after talents to date!
