    Rice University Shepherd School of Music presents the Chamber Music Festival: Spotlight on Music of Haydn, Mozart and Beethoven. Saturday, November 12, 10am to 9:30pm.  Duncan Recital Hall - Alice Pratt Brown Hall.

    Welcome to the Fall Chamber Music Festival: Spotlight on the Music of Haydn, Mozart and Beethoven. The six concerts in one day will feature the following works:

    Rice University Shepherd School of Music presents the Chamber Music Festival: Spotlight on Music of Haydn, Mozart and Beethoven. Saturday, November 12, 10am to 9:30pm.  Duncan Recital Hall - Alice Pratt Brown Hall.

    Welcome to the Fall Chamber Music Festival: Spotlight on the Music of Haydn, Mozart and Beethoven. The six concerts in one day will feature the following works:

    By Joseph Haydn, 4 piano trios.

    By Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Piano Trio in B Flat K. 502, Sonata for Two Pianos K. 381, Duo for Violin and Viola in G Major, Piano Quartet and the Clarinet Quintet.

    By Ludwig van Beethoven, String Trios in E-Flat Major (Op. 3) and G Major (Op. 9, No. 1), Piano Trios Op. 1, No. 1, Op. 70, No. 1 “Ghost”, Op. 70, No. 2, and Op. 97 “Archduke” and String Quartets Op. 59 Nos, 1, 2 and 3 “Razumovsky”, Op. 74, Op. 95, Op. 135 and the infamous Grosse Fugue Op. 133.

    Guest composers represented will include Felix Mendelssohn, John Harbison and others.

    Scheduled Programs:

    Beginning November 7, the performance times will be available on the Shepherd School website or by calling 713-348-8008.

    Admission is free and no tickets are required.
