The Texas Repertory Theatre Co., NW Houston’s critically acclaimed professional theatre is proud to announce a special event for the holiday season, a special live radio play of the holiday classic It’s a Wonderful Life, adapted by Joe Landry. This nostalgic, family-friendly production, previews November 17, opens November 18th, and runs 4 performances a week through December 23rd.

Frank Capra's holiday classic comes to life as a live 1940's radio play complete with all the warmth, wit, humor, and heart of the original. Inspired by the beloved American holiday classic, you’ll become a part of WBFR Radio’s live broadcast as actors bring the fateful story of George Bailey to life. Take your seat in the studio audience to relive the beloved tale of regret and redemption told through insightful storytelling, familiar characters, live sound effects and musical commercial breaks.

As a special event, The Texas Repertory Theatre has partnered with KSEV 700am to bring this live broadcast to Houston radio! Featuring a cast of guest stars, the December 10th performance is a special benefit for the “Be an Angel” Foundation, and will be broadcast live with our studio audience!
