Alamo Drafthouse Mason (Katy) presents Sing-Alongs: LABYRINTH SING & QUOTE-ALONG.

The Action Pack's music video sing-alongs instantly transform your favorite movie theater into your favorite night club -- and everyone's got their own private table! With a vast collection of subtitled music videos to cull from, the Action Pack guys routinely package together two hours of themed musical revelry guaranteed to get you singing, fist pumping, and dancing in the aisles. Dressing up for the theme is always encouraged, and most Sing-Alongs have games and drink specials to go along with the action on screen. So whether you're into '80s power ballads or the pop hip hop hits on the charts right now, there's a Sing-Along party that's perfect for you.

What do you get when you combine the talents of Jim Henson, George Lucas, Terry Jones and David Bowie? Something pretty dang great, of course. And LABYRINTH, the classic ‘80s musical, is as close to perfect as you get when it comes to movies featuring muppets, Jennifer Connelly and one of the largest codpieces ever used in the history of film.

David Bowie stars as Jareth the Goblin King, an only slightly creepy glam rock god who spends his time stealing babies and seducing 15-year-olds. Speaking of 15-year-olds, the very young Jennifer Connelly co-stars as Sarah Williams, a selfish wannabe princess whose cruel words doom her baby brother to a life in the company of goblins — unless, that is, she can navigate a sprawling labyrinth and rescue him. Along the way Sarah encounters all manner of creatures — both friends and foes. The most magical thing she encounters, though, is the film’s unbelievably catchy soundtrack. Take the best of Bowie, ring it through the mind of film composer Trevor Jones and sprinkle on some black tar pixie dust and you'll have a soundtrack that will grab you by the vocal chords and force you to sing along. Luckily, we’re here to help.

You remind me of the babe.” “What babe?” “The babe with the power.” “What power?” “The power of the voodoo.” “Who do?” “You do.” “Do what?” “Remind me of the babe!”

This November we will be screening the LABYRINTH Sing-Along a total of three times. That’s three times the “Magic Dance,” three times the “As the World Falls Down” and three times the gigantic codpiece Bowie sports in his oh-too-tight pants.

Come on people – do I really need to say anything more than that to convince you that this LABYRINTH SING & QUOTE-ALONG is not to be missed, no matter what the goblins tell you they’re going to do to your little brother? David Bowie, Jim Henson, and Jennifer Connely created an unsurpassed work of young adult cinema in the 1980s, and somehow it’s never been properly celebrated until now.

We’ll have subtitles on the screen for all of our favorite lines and every single song, so the whole crowd can yell them all out in unison. We’ll also have an assortment of goodies in your prop bag, including bubbles to transport us to the magical land of Sarah’s dreamy ball, balloons to pop around the theater while we sing the fireys’ song, and best of all – Whoopee Cushions to fart along with the Bog of Eternal Stench. Smells bad!! Suffice to say, if you miss this show, you most definitely have no power over me. YOU HAVE NO POWER OVER ME! (Henri Mazza)

This is one event you won’t want to miss — because if you do, you’ll be haunted in your dreams by a giant white owl ... and honestly, do you really want David Bowie to watch you as you sleep?
