Join Alamo Drafthouse West Oaks for Graveyard Shift: FROM DUSK TILL DAWN. Welcome to the Graveyard Shift — where night owls come together to enjoy some of the best horror movies ever made. From the classics to unknown gems, every month the Alamo Drafthouse will pick out a favorite from the vault for your enjoyment. The Graveyard Shift isn’t just a simple screening, though — it’s an event. Once a month we’ll bring you games, giveaways and surprises of all shapes and sizes. If you’re a horror fan living in Houston, the third Saturday of the month is reserved for the Graveyard Shift.

This month: FROM DUSK TILL DAWN (1996)

Celebrate the 15th anniversary of the horror film that proved what a winning team Robert Rodriguez and Quentin Tarantino could be. A genre-bending journey into the depths of Mexican vampire madness, the film stars George Clooney, Harvey Keitel, Juliette Lewis and Quentin Tarantino himself.

When the Gecko brothers (Clooney and Tarantino) are on the run from the police after a botched bank robbery, the two find themselves with an RV full of hostages heading towards the nastiest bar south of the border. Once at the bar, you get a who's who list of genre film notables including Danny Trejo, Fred Williamson, Tom Savini and Salma Hayek dancing with a giant snake.
We'll have a full night of fun planned for this evening including games, giveaways and more.

Extra bonus round!

We'll kick-start the evening with the Houston premiere of THE LEGEND OF BEAVER DAM, a horror musical short that has played at Fantastic Fest and Sundance. A must see, this short film will blow your mind — leaving it up to FROM DUSK TILL DAWN to pick up the pieces.
