    Holiday in The Woodlands. From The Ice Rink in The Woodlands Town Center and Donoho’s Jewellers Winter Wonderland to the 29th Annual Lighting of The Doves celebration and the International Winter On The Waterway (iWOW) Festival, The Woodlands is home to special events and seasonal entertainment that are sure to become a family holiday tradition.

    Kick off your holiday season with The Woodlands Convention & Visitors Bureau at the 29th Annual Lighting of the Doves Festival featuring the arrival of SANTA CLAUS, Live Music, Ice Carvers, Snow, Kid's Activities and much more! The Festival is in conjunction with the annual International Winter On The Waterway (iWOW) which will add an international flavor to your holiday celebrations in The Woodlands, Texas.

    Admission to the festival is free and open to the public.

    International Winter On The Waterway (iWOW) Festival
    Saturday, November 19, 2011 | 3 pm to 9 pm
    The Woodlands Waterway adjacent to Town Green Park

    Join The Woodlands Convention & Visitors Bureau as we celebrate the cultural diversity represented in The Woodlands at the annual International Winter On The Waterway - iWOW Festival! This Festival is in conjunction with the 29th Annual Lighting of the Doves and provides attendees an opportunity to learn about countries and their unique holiday traditions. From foods, arts & crafts, to music and entertainment, iWOW will add an international flavor to your holiday celebrations in The Woodlands, Texas.

    Admission to the festival is free and open to the public.

    Winter Wonderland
    Donoho’s Jewellers Winter Wonderland features illuminated holiday scenes and storybook displays surrounding The Woodlands Ice Rink along the northeast corner of Lake Robbins and Six Pines Drive. With over 250,000 sparkling lights, visitors can wander through the fantasyland of magical, lighted toy soldiers, elves, doves, musical angels and snowmen from dusk until 11 pm beginning November 19, 2011 through January 2, 2012.

    Admission to Donoho’s Jewellers Winter Wonderland is free and open to the public.

    Also, participate in the Donoho’s Jewellers Winter Wonderland Food Drive. Bring 10 non-perishable food items to Donoho’s Jewellers during the Winter Wonderland season and receive a free Ice Skating Pass.

    The Ice Rink at the Woodlands Town Center

    The Woodlands Ice Rink, the largest seasonal outdoor ice rink in the Southwest, is produced by The Woodlands Convention & Visitors Bureau  and be will open daily Saturday, November 19, 2011 through January 16, 2012 at the northeast corner of Lake Robbins and Six Pines Drive.

    PREVIEW WEEKEND
    The Ice Rink will be open to the Public for a pre-opening on Saturday, November 12 (10 a.m. to 11 p.m.) and Sunday, November 13 (Noon to 7 p.m.) in conjunction with the 16th Annual Children's Festival at The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion.

    Following the Preview Weekend, The Ice Rink at The Woodlands Town Center will open daily, November 19, 2011 – January 16, 2012. Hours are Monday through Thursday, 3 p.m. – 9 p.m.; Friday, 3 p.m. – 11 p.m.; Saturday, 10 p.m. – 11 p.m.; and Sunday, noon until 7 p.m.

    The Ice Rink is also open on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve and New Years Day.

    Admission Info:

    Ice Rink:
    All prices include $2.50 skate rental.
    Skate sessions start and run every two hours, beginning at time of daily opening.

    Monday–Friday
    $9.50 for 2-hour skate session
    $5 for 2-hour skate session for children 5 and under

    Saturday–Sunday
    $10.50 for 2-hour skate session
    $6 for 2-hour skate session for children 5 and under

    Cash and Credit Cards accepted.

    Doves/iWOW/Winter Wonderland:
    free and open to the public.

    Paid parking will be available at the Town Center Parking Garage on Six Pines Drive, the flat lot at the corner of Lake Robbins Drive and Six Pines Drive, 24 Waterway Square Parking Garage, Waterway Square Parking Garage and the surface lot at the corner of Timberloch Place and Waterway Avenue.

    Handicap parking is available in the South Regional Library just west of Town Green Park on Lake Robbins.
