The Orange Show Center for Visionary Art presents an Orange Show Eyeopener Tour: The Art of Glass, Sunday, November 20. Join us for another installation of the critically-acclaimed Orange Show Eyeopener Tours! This time, we will be taking a trip around the city to visit places with unique and intriguing glass artists and installations.

The history of creating glass can be traced back to 3500 BCE. Rudimentary forms of glass blowing techniques have been recorded as early as 50BC. The origins of the first stained glass windows are lost in history. But glass as art has come a long way since, with flamboyant artists like Dale Chihuly creating extravagant pieces for hotels and galleries.

This Eyeopener Tour will introduce you to 2 master glass artists and their work. We will also visit some special spaces where art glass reigns. Join us for this fun and informative Sunday afternoon art adventure.

We will depart from the Orange Show at 1pm and return at 6pm. Tickets are $40 for members and $60 for non-members, and includes a seat on a luxury coach, snacks, and beverages.

Please wear closed-toe shoes in case there are glass shards around.
