    The Ggallery and Sissy Farenthold cordially invite you to join us Saturday Night, November 19, 2011 for a show of works by Venezuelan Artist Mery Godigna Collet. Performative Installation Sculpture by Maria Christina Jadick “As American As Mom and Apple Pie.”

    This piece explores the seductive and contradictory impressions inherent in the use of nationalistic symbols and American iconography. It enacts Democracy because it invites people to share conceptually metaphoric food (homemade apple pies with decorative pie crusts) while stimulating conversations about U.S. foreign policy.

    Show runs from November 16, 201 thru November 23, 2011.
