Redefinition presents the 8th Annual Redefinition: An Artistic Experience, Friday, December 30 at The Ensemble Theatre. Art Exhibit starts at 6pm. Performances start at 7pm.

This multi-media evening of entertainment, education, cultural enlightenment and fellowship represents the finest of the Houston artistic community. The event includes modern dance, spoken word, live jazz and a visual art exhibition that brings together more than thirty five artists in one night This unique presentation truly has it all. Redefinition: An Artistic Experience showcases some of the world-class artistry produced in the Gulf Coast region.

Since it’s conception in 2004 and it’s premiere installment at the beginning of 2005, Redefinition: An Artistic Experience has continually developed as a major artistic forum highlighting the collective strengths and style of a revitalized Houston, Texas. In presenting each annual night of art-inspired entertainment the staff of Redefinition: AAE continues to forge a tradition of dynamic and inventive performances.

This program takes a dynamic approach in presenting today’s generation of multi-cultural artist in a night of creative enrichment, which all backgrounds and ages can appreciate. We are creating a unique forum in which visual art, live jazz, modern dance and spoken word combine to celebrate the beauty of self-expression while raising the collective artistic awareness of our youth.

This event also infuses the spirit of cooperative economics in which local businesses are brought in association, solidifying relationships that increase general resources. As we are committed to presenting the largest market possible with alternatives in entertainment we seek to align ourselves with like minded sponsors whose mission statements include a sense of integrity, excellence of service and an unyielding commitment to building and maintaining community relations.
