    The Houston Arboretum & Nature Center presents Chocolate, Chocolate, Chocolate, Friday, February 10, 7pm-9pm.

    Learn about chocolate from cocoa tree to confection with pastry chef Dan Budd. A tasting and demonstration that will help you appreciate the soothing and energizing deliciousness of chocolate. We're honored to have Chef Budd, who will guide you in the preparation of Truffles, Decorated Chocolate Torte, and Warm Chocolate Dessert. You may be making your own chocolates for your sweet heart this Valentine's Day!

    Registration is limited to 15 participants, so sign up now for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to learn from a master.

    Chef Dan Budd has spent the last 23 years creating pastries and desserts in some of the world's finest hotels and restaurants in America and France. Chef Budd has been the pastry chef at such famous eateries as New York City's River Cafe and Adrienne and was the opening pastry chef of the highly acclaimed Park Avenue Cafe in both New York and Chicago.

    In 1998, Chef Budd was one of eight American pastry chefs who accepted an invitation to create centerpieces for President Clinton and the First Lady at the White House Easter egg hunt. He also spent 5 ½ years as an Associate Professor in Baking and Pastry Arts at the Culinary Institute of America, and currently owns Taste Budd’s Chocolate and Coffee Cafe of Red Hook, NY.
