Join Alamo Drafthouse West Oaks for Dynamic Duos: BATMAN & BATMAN RETURNS.  The summer of superheroes may be over but for the Alamo Drafthouse, crime never sleeps. That’s why we’re teaming up with Ain’t It Cool News and 8th Dimension Comics & Games to present a new monthly series — Dynamic Duos.

Once a month, we’ll screen a double feature of two-fisted justice. That’s double the heroes, double the villains and double the capes and tights. From classics to forgotten gems, we’ll provide you with your superhero film fix until the summer of ’12 — where we have some great surprise lined up for the new batch of superhero films.

You ever dance with the devil in the pale moonlight?

This holiday season, don’t sit at home wondering where Batman gets all those wonderful toys, come to the Alamo Drafthouse and witness a full night of caped crusader caterwauling. Watch as Bruce Wayne channels his multitude of issues (and we’re talking emotional, not bagged and boarded), dons a cowl and cape and puts the hammer to the likes of Joker, Catwoman and The Penguin.

This is Batmania at its prime — before you were “Kissed by a Rose” or suffered the sigh of bat-nipples. In these early ‘90s Batman masterpieces, you’ll get your fair share of Prince tunes, rocket launching penguins and all the Tim Burton-conducted tight black leather madness you can throw a Batarang at.
