In conjunction wit the December 17 Discovery Green Flea, Houston Public Radio presents Dance-Along to The Nutcracker.

Houston Public Radio offers a twist on the sing-along tradition as The Invincible Czars (pictured) present an interactive children's show. Local dancers from Houston Met Dance Company and a guitar-driven version of Tchaikovsky's "The Nutcracker Suite" sets the stage for children and adults alike to get in touch with their inner Sugar Plum Fairy, rock 'n' roll style.

Stop by the Houston Public Radio booth to Hear What You Would Sound Like On the Radio! Come join us at Discovery Green for free music, dance and holiday ornament crafts. Admission is FREE. December 17 at 4pm.

Discovery Green Flea, a one-of-a-kind destination market, returns Saturday, December 17 in Houston’s popular downtown park. Held on the third Saturday of each month this fall from noon – 6 p.m., the market will feature numerous merchants and their recycled, renewed and refreshed merchandise. Families and treasure-hunting locals can also enjoy light bites and local music while strolling through the Grace Event Lawn for unique items.
