JPMorgan Chase choir concerts continue a 65-year tradition. Featuring Free performances at noon, December 19 through 23, 2011.

Holiday music will fill the landmark Art Deco banking hall of the historic JPMorgan Chase Building, 712 Main Street, each day from Monday, December 19 to Friday, December 23 at the 2011 Chase Holiday Choir Concerts. This Houston tradition originated in 1946 when a group of employees surprised bank chairman Jesse Jones with a Christmas concert.

The programs begin at 11:30 a.m., when pianists from the High School for the Performing and Visual Arts (HSPVA) perform under the bank's giant Christmas tree. Choirs take the stage at noon; performances last approximately 45 minutes.

This year’s schedule features:

HSPVA Madrigal Singers – Monday, December 19
Johnston Middle School Choir – Tuesday, December 20
Salvation Army/Harbor Light Choir – Wednesday, December 21
Houston Choral Showcase – Thursday, December 22
Houston Children’s Chorus – Friday, December 23
