The Improv Comedy Showcase and Restaurant presents Charlie Murphy (special event).

Charlie has performed his stand-up act in comedy clubs, colleges, casinos and theaters. He has also appeared as a guest on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" and Comedy Central's "Merry F-in X-Mas."

As an actor Charlie has appeared in films such as Snoop Dogg's "Murder Was the Case," "Jungle Fever," "Mo Better Blues," "Harlem Nights," "King's Ransom" and "Roll Bounce."

He's hosted his own episode of Comedy Central's LIVE AT GOTHAM and also has released his own book "The Making Of A Stand-Up Guy" which traces his journey from jail, to the Navy, to acting and having his own career in stand-up.
