    Grab your friends, hop aboard the float, throw some beads, have some King Cake, sip a Hurricane and just party like it's Mardi, celebrating the grand spirit of Mardi Gras.

    Music Doing Good director of Jazz and trombonist, Delfeayo Marsalis (pictured), gathers his crew of legendary Jazz musicians including saxophonist “Preacherman” Mark Gross, Jazz –all star drummer, Adonis Rose, along with Big Chiefs Gerard Bo Dollis and Big Chief Smiley Ricks to lead the parade.

    Also joining Marsalis from New Orleans are pianist and vocalist, Davell Crawford; Trumpeter, Mark Braud; Bassist, Jasen Weaver; along with Houston-based Music Doing Good's Aisha Ussery Adams.

    Don’t hesitate to don your beads and costumes and bask in the rich traditions, bold sounds and elation that come from this cherished event. All ticket sales benefit Music Doing Good in Schools outreach program, Musical Instrument Aid and Scholarship Fund.

    7 pm pre-party in the lobby of Zilkha Hall with complimentary hurricanes and refreshments.
    8 pm performance begins.

    Parking:

    The Hobby Center parking garage is located directly behind the complex with easy access from both Rusk and Walker streets. This 7-level, above-ground, 800-car garage offers self-parking ease for patrons and visitors alike. Event parking is an affordable $6 per vehicle. Valet service is provided during performances and in conjunction with Artista operating hours in front of the Hobby Center on Bagby Street, for $15 per vehicle between Rusk and Walker.
