The Junior League of Houston, Inc. is thrilled to announce their 64th Annual Charity Ball, Starry Night Ball, will be held Friday, February 10 and Saturday, February 11, 2012.

The 2012 Charity Ball, Starry Night Ball, will feature an action-packed evening of entertainment with cocktails, musical show, dinner and dancing. Both Friday and Saturday evenings will feature one-of-a-kind luxe items on the popular “Big Board”: A Vacation package provided by Exclusive Resorts Luxury Destination Club (one Friday and a second Saturday night), a jewelry item donated by Nacol & Co., and a year of women’s shoes donated by LUCHO.

To kick off the celestial events, a cocktail party will be held Thursday, February 9, 2012. The kick-off event will include cocktails, dinner, and a sneak peak at the League’s must-see musical show.

The presenting underwriters for this year’s event are JLH Community Partners, Texas Children’s Hospital, Weatherford International Ltd. and Sewell Automotive Companies.

Starry Night Ball is presented by Junior League President Perry Ann Davis Reed, Charity Ball Chairman Marian Hearne Hilpert, and Underwriting Chairman Shannon Beirne Wiesedeppe.

All three nights are being held at The Junior League of Houston, Inc. at 1811 Briar Oaks Lane and begin at 6:30 p.m. Dress for the Friday and Saturday night events is Black Tie and Cocktail Attire for the kick-off party on Thursday.

The Charity Ball is the primary source of funding for the League’s Community Program and all underwriting dollars for the event go directly to support the League’s community efforts, which will provide approximately $2 million in trained volunteer time and direct financial support to more than 36 community and League-initiated programs.
