Writers in the Schools (WITS) and the Menil Collection present The Watchful Eye: A WITS Student Reading at the Menil Collection, Thursday, May 17 at 7pm.

30 young writers will share stories and poems written in the Menil Collection art museum.

Writers in the Schools (WITS) conducts a unique program (initiated with the Menil Collection in 1989) in which students of all grade levels visit the museum and are encouraged to write poetry and prose using the artwork on view.

This evening’s program is designed to display the talents of these young writers as they read from their Menil-inspired work.
