Bayou Music Center presents Phyllis Wheatley High School 85th Anniversary Kickoff Concert. Makin It Happen presents Wheatley High School’s 85th Anniversary Concert, Saturday, November 3rd at The Bayou Music Center.

Brace yourself and be prepared to get out of your seats–to stand, sing, shout and cheer. That’s what will happen at Phillis Wheatley High School’s 85th Anniversary Concert, Saturday, November 3rd at The Bayou Center when THE MASTERS OF FUNK hit the stage.

It’s the funkiest SuperBand featuring THE BAR-KAYS, (“Holy Ghost”, “Move Your Boogie Body”), CONFUNKSHUN (“Ffun”, “Love’s Train”), SUGARFOOT’S OHIO PLAYERS (“Fire”, “Skin Tight”), and BRICK (“Ain’t Gonna Hurt Nobody”, “Disco Jazz”).
