Join the artist team behind Singularity Transmissions for A Singular Night, an evening of art, music, and libations.

'A Singular Night' offers collectors and art lovers an opportunity to acquire amazing work donated by the members of this eclectic group of artists; as well as to learn more about the project that has brought them together.

'Singularity Transmissions' is a 40' sculptural interactive tower designed to simultaneously converge the voices of up to 15 individuals into one unified transmission through the use of tin-can phones. The phones are in 10' pods surrounding the main tower, in which people can sing, talk, laugh, pray, scream, or even plug in an instrument, lap top or iPod.

All 15 channels come together inside the main tower, in real time, creating a moment of singularity.

This was the the only sculpture from Texas who received an honorarium (out of 349 applicants) to build a piece at an art festival which has a global attendance of 60,000+ people. The pressure to successfully represent not only ourselves, but Texas art in general, is extreme.

This project has brought together a team of talented artists from Houston, Austin, and San Antonio, who have put together this reception to discuss the project as well as to showcase the diversity of their solo work. The silent auction will include sculptures, paintings, photography, and more.
