    The Rothko Chapel presents the Inaugural Rothko Chapel Book Club. Featuring Claudia Kolker, The Immigrant Advantage: What We Can Learn from Newcomers to America about Health, Happiness and Hope. Public Program: Wednesday, August 29, 7pm. Author’s Tea: Saturday, September 29, 2pm.

    The Rothko Chapel is excited to launch its inaugural Book Club featuring local author Claudia Kolker, an award winning journalist and a former member of The Houston Chronicle's editorial board.

    In a public program on Wednesday, August 29 at 7pm, Kolker will talk about her recent book The Immigrant Advantage: What We Can Learn from Newcomers to America about Health, Happiness and Hope, which explores what Houston's diverse immigrant populations can teach Americans about enjoying a healthier and happier life. A book sale and signing will immediately follow.

    A month later on Saturday, September 29 at 2pm, those interested in discussing the book further are invited to an intimate tea with the author.
