Houston International Festival 2013 - Spotlighting Brazil!

Celebrating its 43rd year, the Houston International Festival will include five stages of music, dance, cultural performances in addition to international cuisine, fine wine and beer. The festival will take place on April 20-21 and April 27-28 from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. in Downtown Houston.
Houston's largest celebration of food, culture, and music. This year, we're proud to highlight the cultures of South America:
“Our lineup this year will showcase a wide variety of South American entertainment, with an emphasis on our featured country Brazil. It will again be a celebration featuring music from our honored country, as well as funk, reggae, R&B, jazz, zydeco, blues,Latin rock and cumbia/salsa and much more,” said Rick Mitchell, Director of Performing Arts.
