Moody Gardens is a public, nonprofit educational destination utilizing nature in the advancement of rehabilitation, conservation, recreation and research.

Children and adults from all over enjoy the seven attractions year-round: Aquarium, Rainforest and Discovery Pyramids, 3D, 4D and Ridefilm Theater, and the Colonel Paddlewheel Boat.

My husband and I attended "Imagine Christmas" dinner show on the evening of the 21st. WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT! The venue was nice and the food was Excellent but the show lacked talent and visual continuity. I was the Visual Arts Director for several years for small productions such as this one up to a cast of 300. The storyline was enjoyable yet the program was unimpressive in so many ways. It looked nothing like the video seen on the Island Star Performances web site. It was as if we attended a Church program and/or grade school program gone. Even the Kite Flyer, Connor Doran, seen on America's Got Talent lacked in visual content. There were a few highlights in the show. One in particular was a solo of Emanuel ... song was beautiful also visually lacking. Apparently this is their second year for this presentation. Not sure why anyone would sponsor it a second year running. As good as the food was, it WASN't worth $64 each nor the 4hr round trip drive. Collapse
