    Dance of Asian America has two essential goals of our community.

    The first part of our mission is to unite people by promoting better understandings of Chinese culture through harmoniously uniting Chinese and western dance styles. DAA`s educational programs and performances allow diverse audiences to understand and appreciate the rich cultures of the people around us and therefore, uniting people of various ethnicity.

    Dance of Asian America has two essential goals of our community.

    The first part of our mission is to unite people by promoting better understandings of Chinese culture through harmoniously uniting Chinese and western dance styles. DAA`s educational programs and performances allow diverse audiences to understand and appreciate the rich cultures of the people around us and therefore, uniting people of various ethnicity.

    The second part of our mission is to provide young dancers with professional multicultural dance training and performance opportunities. By doing so, DAA is helping pursuing dancers develop into mature and versatile dancers in both technique and performance.

    Being the only non-profit organization in Houston dedicated to developing cultural awareness and ethnic preservation though the art of Chinese dance, DAA`s unique performances brings in numerous out-of-town tourists to its local performances.
