    Comment on Facebook

There are many benefits of relocating to Harris County Precinct 4:

Outdoor enthusiasts and nature lovers can enjoy any one of Precinct 4's parks that encompass over 1,900 acres of developed parkland with over 150 amenities. From playgrounds and barbecue pavilions to basketball and tennis courts to camping facilities and walking trails to a skate park, Precinct 4's vast parks system offers residents of all ages numerous recreational and educational opportunities. Precinct 4's parks system also includes the nationally renowned Mercer Arboretum & Botanic Gardens and Jesse H. Jones Park & Nature Center.

Precinct 4 is home to three community centers: Crosby Community Center, Doss Community Center, and May Community Center, and two community buildings: B. F. Clark at Southwell Park and Samuel Matthews. While the three community centers provide a variety of intergenerational programming and exciting volunteer opportunities Monday through Friday, the community buildings offer residents a place to gather for private meetings, parties, and family reunions Monday through Saturdays.

Older adults, ages 50 and over, can contact Precinct 4's Senior Adult Program for information on available services that offers a network of resources and opportunities including educational and special events, group day trips transportation, discounted tickets to theatrical and sporting venues, plus much more.

Also, within Precinct 4 there are many school districts, library centers, chambers of commerce, municipalities: City of Houston, City of Humble, City of Jersey Village, and City of Tomball, a 54-hole regulation public golf course on 852 acres just north of Intercontinental Airport, and much more.
