    The 48 Hour Film Project is an exciting fast paced independent filmmaking competition which encourages filmmakers to get out there and make a film rather than talk about making a film.

    In cities around the world, teams of filmmakers race the clock to make a film in a single weekend. All creative activity - writing, filming, editing, etc - must all be done within this time frame.

    The 48 Hour Film Project is an exciting fast paced independent filmmaking competition which encourages filmmakers to get out there and make a film rather than talk about making a film.

    In cities around the world, teams of filmmakers race the clock to make a film in a single weekend. All creative activity - writing, filming, editing, etc - must all be done within this time frame.

    At the start of the competition, teams draw a genre and are assigned a character, prop and line of dialogue that must appear in the film - after that it's up to them.
