    In 1988, several community leaders, led by Norman Adams, Harold and Milton Wiesenthal, Jack Fields, George Polk, Jr., and Constable Jack Abercia, saw a need for a forum to promote business, and so the Greater Heights Area Chamber of Commerce was born.

    The Greater Heights Area Chamber of Commerce is dedicated to promoting and developing business and industry beneficial to the economic viability of the greater Houston Heights. Through monthly breakfast presentations, luncheons, expositions and other events, the Chamber works to develop local commerce.

    The Heights Chamber is located at 545 W. 19th Street in the Chase Bank building.
