The Bugle Boy is an intimate concert hall housed in a World War II army barracks located in La Grange, Texas. Founded by Lane Gosnay in 2004, The Bugle Boy has rapidly become one of the premier listening rooms in the country. Artists receive the undivided attention of the audience, and the audience gets a live music experience to remember.

The focus is on original, independent singer/songwriters, who perform blues, rock, country, jazz, swing and everything in between. In addition to wonderful music, the Bugle Boy offers coffee drinks, fine wines and beer, and is ALWAYS a NON-SMOKING establishment.

The Bugle Boy takes its name from the Andrews Sisters' 1940's hit "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy”. The barracks now housing the Bugle Boy originated at the WWII Camp Swift Infantry Base in Bastrop, Texas. In 1948, the La Grange Sons of Hermann Lodge purchased the building from the U.S. Army and had it relocated to La Grange where they conducted their meetings until 2004, when the Bugle Boy opened.

The Bugle Boy is operated by founder Lane Gosnay and a group of dedicated volunteers. If you'd like to protect the future of this unique live music venue, The Bugle Boy Foundation would welcome your donation.

The Bugle Boy Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that supports the activities of The Bugle Boy, an intimate concert hall founded in 2004 by Lane Gosnay in La Grange, Texas.

    Mission Statement
The Mission of the Bugle Boy Foundation is to provide a premier listening room venue for affordable public performances by professional musicians of original works of diverse genres, for the enrichment of Fayette County, Texas residents and visitors. The Foundation supports music education by sponsoring artist-led creative arts programs for the benefit of area students.

Robert and Mark have a great presentation together. Robert's songs sounded very organic -different from the norm- as well as upbeat giving a sense of feeling good. Mark's bass was earthy and... Expand
