Organization

The objective of Proctor Plaza Neighborhood Association ("PPNA") is to promote the civic and social welfare and well-being of the neighborhood; to promote civic betterment and social well-being of all residents in the neighborhood; to encourage the prevention and suppression of crime in the community; to disseminate facts relating to the improvement and promotion of this vicinity; to preserve the residential character and integrity of the neighborhood.

What We Want to Achieve:

PPNA promotes the welfare of the North Houston Historic district of Norhill. The revenue obtained through membership dues and community fundraiser's plus many hours of hard work by volunteers has enabled PPNA to play a leading role in achieving:

Protecting the integrity of the Norhill neighborhood by enforcing our Deed Restrictions

Neighborhoods to Standards (sidewalks, lighting, etc.)

Historic street lights for your safety

Citizens on Patrol for your protection

Street marker restoration and painting

A Sprint cellular tower that is in keeping with the architecture of the neighborhood

Norhill Esplanade Beautification

Historic Designation of our Neighborhood to maintain its character and integrity

Monthly neighborhood information-filled meetings

A biannual Historic Norhill Home Tour

Monthly happy hours at homes in our neighborhood

Organization of "Neighborhood Night-Out" festivities
