    The concept of the Village Concerts is to restore chamber music to the personal experience it was meant to be: at the end of a long weekday, listeners may arrive up to half an hour early, and refresh themselves with cheese and wine and a chat with the performers and other music lovers before settling in for the performance.

    The concerts are relatively short, about an hour, but highly stimulating, with each piece introduced informally by one of the musicians. After the concert, enjoy a glass of wine with the performers, who include some of Houston's finest musicians.
