In 2012, Houston-based playwrights Eric James and Peter Wittenberg, Jr. decided to face facts. They were meant to be together.

Not as a superhero and his sidekick (much to Peter's disappointment). Not as lovers (much to Eric's chagrin). But to team up and create great theatre.

So built out of a mutual love of theatre and late night cocktails, NightCap Theatre was born.

Dedicated to bringing fresh and original theatre to Houston BY Houston playwrights, Eric and Peter are not looking to take over the world. (Not yet, at least.) They just want to bring great theatre to Houston audiences that highlight Houston talent - from the written word to the actors and directors involved.
