Le RDV Français is a rapidly growing group of French speakers of all ages and nationalities in the Houston area.

We hold regular events each month to gather, speak French and share our mutual interests in French culture all while having a good time. We all enjoy getting together to chat and meet other Francophones in relaxed social settings.

RDV Français is much more than simply another Francophone social conversational group. We actively seek to provide opportunities and activities focused on learning about and exposure to French culture. If you are traveling to France or are just interested in French culture you've come to the right place. You will have opportunities to learn more about all aspects of French culture and customs including greeting people when in France, dinner table etiquette, avoiding communication faux pas, learning about French wines and cheeses, cuisine, literature, philosophy, and holidays all in a relaxed, friendly environment.

Additionally, we organize events such as outings to restaurants, trendy bars, French films, live music, sports related activities, outdoor events and much more.

Membership dues are only $12 annually ($1 per month). New members are provided with a thirty (30) day trial membership to decide. There is no charge for attending regular RDV Français events, so come along and keep us company at our next event!

Our members are adults (ages 21+) representing French, American and an assortment of other nationalities, backgrounds and levels of fluency in French ranging from those possessing basic conversational skills to native speakers. Everyone is always friendly and welcoming.

One of the many reasons the RDV Français is unique compared with other groups is that we offer high quality structured and hosted events, continually seek improvement and possess a clear group focus. Members must be able to speak French at least on a basic conversational level. Our event venues are interesting and fun with a French twist. Members are relaxed, social and always friendly. Members are never left to fend for themselves. Instead, you will always be greeted, feel welcomed, made comfortable, introduced to others, included in activities, be able to locate and identify other group members, and always experience organized hosted events facilitated by friendly, recognizable and responsible leadership.
