The mission of the Galveston Arts Center is to promote the visual arts by presenting exhibitions, developing educational programs, and providing an environment for creative expression.
Funding for programs is provided by the Texas Commission on the Arts, Galveston Hotel/Motel tax funds, foundations, corporations, generous community support and an active membership

The three mosaics at the new Texas A&M building in Galveston by Dixie and her team are amazing. I am sure this show at the Galveston Arts Center will be great too. She is an incredible artist.
