    Gente de Teatro (GdT), a non-profit organization founded in 1995, is a highly motivated and vibrant Houston-based theater organization. It is run by seven talented artists, performing in many capacities, who devote their energy to bringing the passion and emotion of Latin American and Spanish theater to Houston audiences.

    All performances are in Spanish, although recent initiatives include English surtitles.

    Seven different backgrounds and personalities fuse in this highly energetic group: Sergio Amsel, Carmen Falla Aramayo, Esteban Gago, Ana Ilvento Scuseria, Claudia Soroka, Jorge Zambra, and Marcela Salas, as Artistic Director.
