    MISSION STATEMENT
    The Conrad O. Johnson Music and Fine Arts Foundation will develop, preserve, and support music and the arts through our youth in the Greater Houston/Gulf Coast area.

    MISSION STATEMENT
    The Conrad O. Johnson Music and Fine Arts Foundation will develop, preserve, and support music and the arts through our youth in the Greater Houston/Gulf Coast area.

    GOAL
    To promote jazz studies, with focus on the discipline of improvisation, throughout the Greater Houston/Gulf Coast area.

    OBJECTIVES
    Demonstrate the benefit of music and arts instruction by showing the correlation between these extracurricular courses/activities and increased academic performance.

    Establish and provide a network of professional instructors adept at implementing fine teaching methods to enhance music and the arts.

    Collaborate with existing music and art programs at local schools, colleges, and universities to encourage the preservation of the art of jazz.

    Develop and implement mentoring programs, workshops, and seminars to introduce and enhance life skills (character building, entrepreneurship, and leadership) needed to become productive citizens.

    Serve as a resource to area schools for placement into advanced music and fine arts programs at colleges and universities.

    Create and serve as a venue for scholarships to area students to advance their discipline in music studies and the arts.
