    Schlitterbahn Galveston Island Waterpark is the world's first convertible waterpark and is the third waterpark in the Schlitterbahn family of Texas parks. Following the tradition of ride innovation that Schlitterbahn is known for, the new Galveston Island park is the first convertible waterpark with an entire area that can be opened or closed for indoor/outdoor year-round operation.
