Unhinged Productions Is A Houston Production Company That Exists To Provide A GLBT Voice In Theatre.

Because live theater has a unique ability to create a direct emotional connection with an audience, it can raise awareness on social issues in a way that no other medium can. Unhinged Production selects plays that speak, often with humor, to universal experiences that include discrimination, prejudice, and the quest for individuality.

By highlighting these similarities, UP can create common ground between diverse communities and promote understanding. UP, started by founding Artistic Director Chris Jimmerson, has been producing professionally staged plays since 1999.
