The City ArtWorks mission is to color the future of our children and our community through meaningful art experiences by:

1. providing hands on experience with tools and concepts of art
2. exposure to and appreciation of art of the world
3. opportunities to cultivate creativity and self-expression
4. develop thinking skills, visualization, problem solving
5. non-competitive, ungraded, uplifting - art for the joy of creating!

City ArtWorks provides innovative experiences based on the elements of art. Trained instructors who use a fresh curriculum each semester teach classes which are inspired by art history, stress varied techniques, and encourage individual problem solving. Nearly 4,000 children in the greater Houston area participated last year in 200 classes which were offered in seven school districts. We are proud of the artwork done by the children in our program. For your enjoyment a rotating display of their creations may be seen in our facilities at the Bell Tower shopping Center at Wirt and Westview, 1300-R Wirt Road.
