Artist, writer, chef—Sandra Kriss creates one-of-kind pieces. Believing that "art is the soul made manifest," she is pleased to present DUALITIES 2007, her most recent excursions in clay. Her background in the visual arts spans 50 years and includes designing, drawing, painting, fashion, costume and set design as well as commercial work in stores, restaurants, hotels, and theaters.

Sandra is a published writer/editor in areas including education, medicine, psychology, philosophy, aesthetics, real estate, and business development. Her fifteen minutes of fame include writing for TIME MAGAZINE about women's issues and being written about in PEOPLE MAGAZINE for arts promotion. She has taught and lectured in the public schools, colleges and junior colleges including the Hilton College of Hotel and Restaurant Management and Houston Community College English and Culinary Arts departments. She teaches design, drawing, writing and food artistry and mentors new writers, artists and chefs.
